Social health network WEGO Health is seeking nominations for its 2012 WEGO Health Activist Awards.
According to WEGO Health, “the WEGO Health Activist Awards were created to embody the mission of WEGO Health: to empower health activists.” Anyone who focuses on health online, on any platform and with a focus on any condition, is eligible to win an award.
There are 16 award categories, ranging from the “Best Kept Secret Award,” for activists in the online health community who are doing great work but haven’t received much attention, to the “Hilarious Health Activist Award,” for health activists who make you laugh.
Winners are selected by a panel of WEGO Health judges and will be recognized on WEGO social profiles. They will additionally receive WEGO Health Activist business cards noting their distinction and will have the opportunity to represent WEGO Health at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
