Looking to take your diabetes advocacy to the next level? Then be sure to save the date for the 2015 MasterLab, being presented July 7–8 by the Diabetes Hands Foundation, in collaboration with Children With Diabetes, at this year’s Friends for Life meeting.
The conference, which will be located at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida, will include a variety of classes and networking events where attendees will have the chance to meet other diabetes advocates and industry experts to “build a sense of what is possible in diabetes advocacy.” Participants in the 2014 MasterLab included Kerri Sparling from Six Until Me, Kelly Close and Adam Brown of DiaTribe, HIV/AIDS activist Mike Mangianello, and representatives from the FDA and companies such as Dexcom, Roche, Lilly, Sanofi, and Medtronic.
