If you’re looking to kick your diabetes advocacy into a new gear, be sure to save the date for the 2016 MasterLab, taking place on Wednesday, July 6 at this year’s Friends for Life conference in Orlando, Florida.
The MasterLab Diabetes Advocates event aims to provide participants with “tools to accelerate and amplify” their advocacy efforts. The program includes a variety of speakers who will provide strategies for becoming better advocates, as well as discuss how advocates can convey the social and emotional challenges of living with diabetes in their advocacy work.
Scholarships to attend MasterLab are available and cover airfare to and from Orlando, ground transportation, registration to the conference, hotel accommodation, and breakfast and lunch on July 6. For more information, and to apply, visit the MasterLab scholarships page.
