Here at Diabetes Self-Management, we often receive letters from our readers letting us know how they’re doing with their diabetes management. To our delight, these communications sometimes come in the form of a poem.
This week, in honor of National Poetry Month, we’d like to spread the good feelings and encourage all of you to share your diabetes poetry. Dealing with a erratic blood glucose levels? Proud of your most recent A1C? Embarking on a new exercise routine? No matter what the diabetes topic — and no matter whether your style is more Shakespeare or Seuss — we’d love to hear what you have to say. If you’re feeling shy, you can even feel free to use “anonymous” or a pseudonym in the name field.
So go ahead, try your hand at poetry in the comment box below!
